Wakefield, UK — Citizens Advice Wakefield District is proud to announce the launch of its new high-profile fundraising initiative, Help Us To Help More, aimed at raising awareness of the vital support the charity provides across the Wakefield District and inspiring greater community involvement through donations and volunteering.
The charity is unveiling an engaging and heartfelt series of conversations between staff members. These audio clips highlight real examples of how the team has helped clients in meaningful, relatable ways—showcasing the impact of their work and the continuing need for community support.
It is hoped that the audio clips will be broadcast on Rhubarb Radio throughout December and into the New Year. They will feature on the charity’s social media and be available on their website.
The campaign is expected to deliver two key outcomes:
Increasing public awareness of the wide range of services available to Wakefield residents.
Encouraging more people to get involved, either by donating or by volunteering, so the charity can continue providing essential help to those who need it most.
The official launch event for Help Us To Help More will take place on Monday 8 December at 12:30pm, when the Mayor of Wakefield, Cllr Maureen Tennant-King, will visit the charity’s King Street offices. During her visit, the Mayor will meet with both volunteers and staff to learn more about their invaluable work and discuss the continued needs of the local community.
