The ongoing cost-of-living crisis means we continue to help around 10,000 residents across the whole of the Wakefield District each year.
Our wonderful volunteers are a vital part of providing that help, having key roles in our Charity.
They may be a Receptionist, welcoming clients to our King Street office, or perhaps an Assessor, listing to clients and finding out the best way to help them, to find a way forward.
The funding recently secured from the National Lottery’s Awards for All fund will help us to continue to deliver comprehensive, ongoing training and support to our dedicated volunteer team.
